Created by the AGAC in 2007, Papier is a key driver for Canadian contemporary art, as well as a unique meeting ground for the greater public, enthusiasts and visual arts professionals alike. This 13th edition of the event will be virtual and will bring together 40 Canadian private galleries and the works of more than 400 artists.

The fair's website will become a digital showcase where art enthusiasts will be able to get in touch with gallery owners, discover the best of contemporary art and (virtually) take part in some of the activities of the educational program.

AGAC launches an augmented reality app to visualise artworks in the comfort of your home

This virtual edition of Papier will also be an opportunity to unveil AGAC's latest project, an augmented reality application: Collecting - the app. Developed in collaboration with Studio Dpt., the app will enhance the experience of visitors to the fair by giving them unprecedented access to the works of their favourite Canadian artists. Through augmented reality, users will be able to discover and view the works presented by exhibitors on their own walls. The application, which was made possible thanks to the financial support of the Ville de Montréal, can be downloaded here.
