In the current exhibition Schindler House the viewer is invited to consider an analysis of interior and exterior space, from Candida Höfer's photographs of indoor spaces, Schindler House Los Angeles IV, VI (2000) to Olia Mishchenko's Backyard Series in downtown Toronto. The show points towards the social use of private space whether inside or outside, the social and cultural histories inscribed in such spaces and the impact of exterior space on architectural intent.
