Paul Petro Contemporary Art is pleased to present a look-back at 19 years of Christmas Spice, one of Toronto's original holiday-inspired group exhibitions. We've dug into the archive and are pulling out works that date back to our first Christmas Cheer in 1997. The name change in 1998 coincided with a YYZ fundraiser lipsynchorama performance at the Rivoli by a bunch of us as The Spice Girls.

The exhibition was predicated on the idea that someone might acquire their first work of art, ever, for as little as $2.

We'll be opening this exhibition in conjunction with West Country, an exhibition of new ceramic works by Amy Bowles and new paintings by Gary Evans.
