Now Bigger and Better

Ron Loranger reprises his "Flaccid Penis Show (birds on a wire)" from several years ago when the space was Zsa Zsa Gallery for Pride this year at Paul Petro Special Projects Space. With fewer members, just three as opposed to 24 drawings, he paints with tempera a giant flaccid penis on each of the walls of the gallery. This time around he asked only one friend to model and has used a digital search engine and a social networking site to find the other two fine specimens. One is somewhat famous, another slightly well known and the last a complete unknown. Loranger says it is much harder to find something soft on the internet than something erect. Slightly tongue in cheek this exhibition takes a light political attitude to what one can display in a somewhat public forum. Happy Pride everyone.
