Paul Petro Multiples + Small Works is pleased to present new work by Jane Buyers: from Inscriptions.  This exhibition is made up of four sculptures in porcelain and stoneware and prints, all of which reference the physical, intellectual and metaphorical associations of the book in contemporary culture.

This exhibition is produced in conjunction with Jane Buyers: Inscriptions at the Koffler Gallery October 26 - December 17, 2006, curated by Carol Podedworny, organized and circulated by The Robet McLaughlin Gallery, Oshawa in association with the University of Waterloo Art gallery.  Visit the following web site for additional information:

The exhibition is accompanied by a publication with an introduction by Carol Podedworny, an interview with the artist by Robert Enright and a literary submission by Canadian author Ann Ireland.

Jane Buyers holds an Honours B.A. from York University and a M.Ed. from the University of Toronto. She has exhibited internationally since 1975 and has completed several public commissions. She is a Professor at the University of Waterloo where she has taught since 1988.
